Welcome to Luton Someries Rotary Club

someries.jpgThe Rotary Club of Luton Someries was formed in 1993 and takes its name from Someries Castle in Luton.

This website is for members of the public and other Rotarians to see what we do - and is also a working site for the club's members, so some areas are restricted. Our Committee News and News sections contain information on club activities.

Please come and join us for breakfast on a Friday morning. If possible, could you inform us before the event; then we can ensure there's enough food and a place for you to sit! Our Contact Us page has the relevant phone numbers or email addresses.

caribbean

Whilst off enjoying himself on a cruise to the caribbean, Jim didn't forget us all at home enduring Christmas in the snow, er... rain.

He left this little ode behind him to be read in his stead at our pre-Christmas meeting.

As we Gather

As we meet at Bowling Green Lane

May we be spared by the Credit Crunch Pain?

May we forgive the Financial Advisers for being so lame?

May we bank with a manager who is tame?

As we share and break our bread

And wish to keep our head

In these times of trouble and strife

Remember it is just life

So with a heart full of Rotary love and joy

Jim wishes

That you will share the same with yours

And of course Santa Claus

So Merry Christmas to all Rotarians everywhere

That take a moment to show they care

And Merry Christmas to my club

Who I would like to say

I really love

xXx
