Welcome to Luton Someries Rotary Club

someries.jpgThe Rotary Club of Luton Someries was formed in 1993 and takes its name from Someries Castle in Luton.

This website is for members of the public and other Rotarians to see what we do - and is also a working site for the club's members, so some areas are restricted. Our Committee News and News sections contain information on club activities.

Please come and join us for breakfast on a Friday morning. If possible, could you inform us before the event; then we can ensure there's enough food and a place for you to sit! Our Contact Us page has the relevant phone numbers or email addresses.

Welcome to our new member - Paul Harrison.

By trade a Diamond Mounter, he has been in the jewellery trade for over 40years. Paul works out of Morgan Huzzies Jewellers in Chapel Street, Luton. They have their workshops in Woburn Sands where they work for over 200 retail shops and other workshops. Morgan Huzzies have five of their own retail shops around Beds, Bucks and Herts.

Paul and his son are both Fellows of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths, of which Paul has been chairman, and is currently on the executive committee. Paul's son runs the workshop and day-to-day running of the business, which, Paul says, "frees me up to avail myself to our retail and private customer-base, organising make-up jobs and valuations in either people's homes, or the shop. I also present talks and shows for organisations.  We are proud of our high-quality service and work hard to maintain that quality."

Welcome to Luton Someries, Paul - we know you'll enjoy your new Rotary activities too!
