Post-President's-Ball Thanks |
|
Thanks indeed from Sally and I for the super evening on Saturday to the organizing team, all of those who were able to attend and to their guests. We are so grateful for the support and for such a great evenings entertainment. Special thanks though must be given to Nick for being MC and his rousing voice, Jill for leading the way with her rousing chorus and Lucia and the girls for their rousing ripples (or is it arousing). My family and friends all had a great time and am so pleased to have been able to celebrate my half-century with the people that I care for. Thank you for making a normally good evening into a fun and such memorable time for us. P.S. I have got some great ideas for next year – and Lucia you're part of the plan! Thank you all.

After the problems caused by last-year's compulsory cross-county-skiing entrance requirements, the turnout was excellent; with schools from as far away as Bedford joining us. |

As my Gran would say, "You can't plough a field by turning it over in your mind." And we have a large number of acres ready to attack. |
